With every idea or concept I attempt to divulge emotion in my painting. Emotion is an underrated factor which is quite often a necessity to best exemplify the passion of one's expression. How I might go about describing my work to the viewer, is actually insignificant to the meaning a subject conveys. You are there-and I am here... in a manner of speaking. The art which is in between, is what connects us to the infinite.I'd like for each individual that views my work to understand this,.... This is the "exploration period" of my life- as well as my art. Needless to say, poverty can evoke discovery in any individual and self discovery is what we all need to find first. With all my art, I clearly picture my past, and easily smell my future. Subject has become a relative, and technique has delivered a familiar sense that I've not known before. My childhood has candidly returned to my hand and stroke to pronounce a new with color and form. Like life, change visits us all in very colorful and mysterious ways. So I hope you appreciate the difference in my work, as I accept the desire to change when inspired to create.
